Manage Teams

Invite users, assign roles, and control access across your Carbonleap organization

The Manage Teams section allows you to collaborate with workers, managers, consultants, and advisors by giving them controlled access to your Carbonleap environment. Whether you manage a single farm or multiple large-scale operations, Teams provides the flexibility to assign permissions and roles that match your organizational structure.


What You Can Do in Manage Teams

1. Invite New Team Members

You can invite:

  • Employees

  • Farm managers

  • Agronomists

  • Consultants

  • Business partners

  • External service professionals

To invite a user:

  1. Click Invite User

  2. Enter their email

  3. Assign a role

  4. Select which farms they can access

They will receive an email prompting them to join your organization.


2. Role-Based Access

Roles determine what each person can see and do. Current roles include:

  • Owner

    • Full access to all farms

    • Can manage billing, subscriptions, farms, fields, teams, and settings

  • Manager

    • Can manage farms, fields, alerts, scouting (future), and view subscriptions

    • Cannot change billing or delete the organization

  • Viewer

    • Read-only access to insights, maps, alerts, weather, and models

    • Ideal for consultants or passive stakeholders

Future roles (planned):

  • Field Staff (task-focused, mobile-first role)

  • Custom Roles (configurable permissions)


3. Farm-Level Access Control

Even after assigning a role, you can choose:

  • Which farms the user can access

  • Whether they have access to all farms or specifi
