My Tasks

View and complete field tasks assigned to you while working in the field.

The My Tasks section of the Carbonleap mobile app allows users to see all tasks assigned to them for farms where they have a role. The task workflow is designed for quick field execution, simple documentation, and automatic cloud syncing.

All updates made in the mobile app are saved to the cloud and become available in the Manage Data section on the web.

Task Views

Users can navigate between three task views:

Pending

Displays all tasks that have been assigned but are not yet complete. This is the default view and is designed to help users focus on current work.

Overdue

Shows tasks that have passed their due date but are still incomplete. This view helps users and managers prioritize urgent field activities.

Completed

Lists all tasks the user has finished. Completed tasks include any notes or photos added during completion.

These three views make it easy to track progress and manage workload in the field.

Accessing Your Tasks

When you sign in, the app displays tasks based on the farms where you have assigned roles. Users only see tasks assigned directly to them or to their role in the farm.

Each task entry may include:

• Task name

• Description

• Due date

• Priority (if provided)

Opening a Task

Selecting a task opens its details, which may include:

• Instructions

• Additional notes from the manager or advisor

• Field context when available

This information supports accurate task execution in the field.

Completing a Task

Users can complete a task directly from the mobile app. When completing a task, you may:

• Mark the task as complete

• Add written notes

• Attach photos documenting work performed

• Record observations or concerns

Once submitted, the task status updates immediately in the cloud and appears in the Completed tab.

Cloud Sync

All task updates sync automatically with your Carbonleap account. This ensures:

• Accurate documentation of field work

• Immediate visibility for managers and collaborators

• A reliable history stored in Manage Data on the web

No manual upload steps are required.

Task Accessibility

Users will only see:

• List of farms where they have a role

• All tasks are field aware.

• Tasks assigned for selected farm.

• Tasks assigned to a specific user.
