Mobile App Overview

Complete tasks and record scouting notes directly from the field using the Carbonleap mobile app.

The Carbonleap Mobile App is designed to support daily field operations. It enables users to view and complete assigned tasks, record scouting notes, and manage basic account information from their mobile device. The mobile experience is streamlined for fieldwork and complements the more advanced capabilities available on the Carbonleap web platform.

All data captured through the mobile app is saved to the cloud and becomes immediately accessible through the Manage Data section on the web.

The app supports both iOS and Android and is currently available through private whitelisting. Public availability begins January 1.

Supported Platforms

• iOS (App Store, starting January 1)

• Android (Google Play, starting January 1)

Whitelisted users receive temporary installation links until the public release.

What You Can Do in the Mobile App

View Assigned Tasks

Users can view tasks assigned to them for farms where they hold a role. Task lists include details such as descriptions, due dates, and priorities.

Complete Tasks in the Field

Tasks can be marked as complete directly from the app. Users may add notes or photos to document task completion, and updates are synced to the cloud for visibility on the web platform.

Record Scouting Notes

Users can document field observations through text notes and photos. These entries are uploaded to the cloud and stored in Manage Data on the web, creating a structured history of field conditions over time.

Manage Basic Account Information

Users can update personal profile information such as first name, last name, and password. Account deletion is also supported from the mobile app.

Farm Access

Users will only see farms where they have been assigned a role. Tasks and scouting notes displayed in the mobile app are limited to these farms.

New farm onboarding is not supported in the mobile app and must be completed through the Carbonleap web platform.

Purpose of the Mobile App

The mobile app is optimized for field execution and quick documentation. It is intended for:

• Walking fields while capturing scouting notes

• Completing assigned operational tasks

• Keeping field activity records up to date

• Managing personal account settings

Advanced analytics and configuration—such as maps, metrics, alerts, crop calendars, subscriptions, and farm setup—remain available on the web platform.
