Installation and Login
Install the Carbonleap Field mobile app, create an account, and sign in from your mobile device.
The Carbonleap mobile app is available on both iOS and Android. This page describes how to install the app, create an account, and sign in.
Availability
The mobile app is currently available through private access only. Users must request whitelisting in order to download and use the app during the early release period.
The app will be publicly available on both the App Store and Google Play starting January 1.
Installing the App (Whitelisted Access)
Until the public release, Carbonleap will provide approved users with installation instructions. After your request is approved, you will receive a link to install the app for your specific device.
Installing the App (Public Release on January 1)
iOS (App Store)
Open the App Store on your iPhone.
Search for “Carbonleap Field”.
Select the Carbonleap Field app from the results.
Tap Download or Get to install the app.
Android (Google Play)
Open the Google Play Store on your Android device.
Search for “Carbonleap Field”.
Select the Carbonleap Field app from the results.
Tap Install to download and install the app.
After installation, the Carbonleap Field app will appear on your device’s home screen.
Account Creation
Users may sign up directly from the mobile app or sign in using an existing Carbonleap account created through the web platform.
To sign up:
Open the Carbonleap Field app.
Tap Create Account.
Enter your first name, last name, email address, and password.
Submit the form.
Check your inbox for the verification email and complete the verification step.
Your account becomes active as soon as verification is complete.
Signing In
If you already created a Carbonleap account on the web, you can sign in using the same email and password.
When signing in:
Open the app.
Enter your email and password.
Tap Sign In.
Users will only see farms where they have been assigned a role. Tasks and scouting notes shown in the app are limited to those farms.
Important Note About Farm Onboarding
New farm onboarding is not supported in the mobile app. Creating or activating a new farm can only be done through the Carbonleap web platform.
Password Reset
If you forget your password:
Tap “Forgot Password” on the login screen.
Enter the email associated with your account.
Follow the reset link sent to your inbox.
Return to the app and sign in with your new password.
Security Notes
Credentials are encrypted and handled securely.
Sessions expire after periods of inactivity.
An active internet connection is required when signing in.
Summary
Users can install the Carbonleap Field app through whitelisting during early access or via public app stores starting January 1. Both new users and existing Carbonleap users can sign in. Mobile access is limited to tasks and scouting notes for farms where the user has a role; farm onboarding remains a web-only feature.
