First Login & Navigation
Understanding the Carbonleap Interface
Once you’ve created your account and logged in for the first time, Carbonleap guides you through a structured and intuitive interface designed for efficient farm management and quick access to field intelligence.
This page provides an overview of the main navigation components and how to move through the platform.
Landing on Your Dashboard
If you have no farms set up, you will be directed to the onboarding wizard to add your first farm.
If farms already exist, you will land on the Monitor Farm view by default. This is the central hub for real-time insights.
Main Navigation Layout
Carbonleap’s interface is organized into three primary navigation areas:
1. Top Navigation Bar
Located at the top of the screen and includes:
Farm Selector
Allows switching between farms (disabled when in Profile Settings).
Profile dropdown
Gives access to Settings, Billing, Teams, and Account Details.
Help & Support (if enabled)
The top navigation is always available unless you are in restricted workflows such as change orders.
2. Section Navigation (Left Panel)
Depending on the screen, this displays:
Field cards (in Monitor Farm)
Page-specific tools
Crop calendars
Alerts, metrics, and tasks (coming soon)
This panel helps you quickly switch between fields, alerts, or details relevant to your current farm.
3. Primary Workspace (Center Display)
This is where all operational insights are displayed, including:
Satellite maps
Vegetation metrics
Phenological calendar
Weather forecasts
Alert listings
Field activation progress
Onboarding steps
The workspace updates dynamically based on the farm, field, or tool you are viewing.
Switching Between Farms
When viewing operational content (Monitor Farm pages), you can switch farms using the Farm Selector in the top-right corner.
When in Profile Settings, the Farm Selector is disabled because all farms are managed together through the settings view.
Understanding Page States
Carbonleap uses different visual states to signal workflows:
Active – normal operation
Pending – change orders in progress
Read-only – fields temporarily locked during processing
Activation in progress – farm being initialized
Under construction – features available soon
These states help ensure clarity and consistency during data updates.
What to Explore Next
After your first login, users typically proceed to:
Add a new farm (if none exist)
Explore the Monitor Farm dashboard
Open Profile Settings to manage configurations
Install or log into the mobile app
You are now ready for the next step: adding your first farm and fields using the onboarding wizard.
