My Task

View, manage, and track tasks assigned to you across all farms you have access to.

The My Tasks page on the Carbonleap web platform provides a desktop view of all tasks assigned to the user. It mirrors the core capabilities available in the mobile app, allowing users to review, organize, and complete their assigned work from a browser.

Task Views

Users can switch between three task views:

Pending

Displays all assigned tasks that are not yet completed.

Overdue

Shows tasks that are past their due dates and still require action.

Completed

Lists all tasks the user has finished, including any notes they entered during completion.

These views help users and managers efficiently track workloads and prioritize daily and weekly tasks.

Accessing Tasks

The My Tasks page displays tasks based on the farms where the user holds a role. Users only see tasks assigned specifically to them or tasks that fall within their role’s permissions.

Each task typically includes:

  • Task name

  • Description

  • Due date

  • Priority (if provided)

  • The farm and field associated with the task

This provides clarity about where the task belongs and what area of the operation it impacts.

Opening a Task

Selecting a task opens its detailed view. Task details may include:

  • Task description

  • Additional notes provided by a manager or advisor

  • Due date and priority

  • The field or farm context for the task

This detail helps users prepare before performing the work.

Completing a Task

Tasks can be completed directly from the web interface. When completing a task, the user may:

  • Mark the task as complete

  • Enter optional text notes describing the work performed or any issues noticed

At this time, web task completion does not support uploading attachments such as images or documents.

All completion data syncs instantly to the Carbonleap cloud for visibility across the platform.

Visibility Differences from Mobile

While the mobile app is optimized for field execution, the web version provides:

  • A larger interface for browsing multiple tasks

  • Easier navigation across farms and time periods

  • Full visibility into historical task activity

  • Direct access to related scouting notes via Manage Data

This makes the web platform ideal for planning, reviewing progress, and collaborative coordination.

Cloud Sync

All task updates sync automatically across Carbonleap:

  • Tasks completed in the field appear instantly on the web

  • Tasks completed on the web appear immediately in the mobile app

  • All task activity is stored and accessible in Manage Data

No manual syncing is required.

Farm Access Requirements

Task visibility is controlled by user roles:

  • Users only see tasks for farms where they have an assigned role

  • Users cannot view tasks from farms outside their assigned access

  • Task creation and farm onboarding are not done through the My Tasks page
